What is Colibri?

Colibri Group Ltd. is a Polish-British conglomerate known for films and TV production and distribution, food and beverages, technology, events, and many more. It all started in 2017 when JJK Films was formed. Soon after, JJK Films had more divisions, like JJK Television for example, until JJK was formed as a multi-industry corporation.

Colibri owns many divisions, such as Colibri Productions, Horrorbird Productions, Colibri Animation, Colibri Interactive, Colibri Electronics, Colibri Technologies, its distribution arm Colibri Distribution, its subsidiary Toon TV Ltd, and the list goes on.

Over the years, they made partnerships with different companies, such as Del Mar Cartoons, CTC Enterprises and COSKE.

The History of Colibri

On 18 April 2017, Furrier started his YouTube channel, and along with it, a new company. It started as a film production company called JJK Films. Then in 2018, it was rebranded to JacobK Pictures, it was short-lived, until it was reverted back to JJK Films. In late 2018, JJK became a larger company, reaching multiple countries, including Poland, the UK, Japan, etc.

2019 marked the days of JNF, and then Cube, which expanded even more.

In 2020, Cube Films and Cube Television merged into Colibri Entertainment. Along with it, another rebrand for the assets.

In 2021, Colibri Entertainment was temporarily rebranded into BlueChirp Media, due to one guy (Skye Garces) pointing out that a company already has the word Colibri in their name, but it lasted until late 2021, when the Colibri brand was revived and fact-checked Garces' statement. Today, Colibri Group Ltd. is one of the largest conglomerates in the whole world.

On 30 December 2021, Skye Garces got fired permanently after multiple accusations, complaints, and allegations about his behaviour on social media, including Instagram, DeviantArt, YouTube, and Discord. All of his OCs are now trademarked by Colibri themselves. Later, in late March 2022, Garces deleted all of his social media accounts.

On 17 March 2022, as a response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Colibri has temporarily closed its Russian branch, and opened new Ukrainian facilities in Kyiv, Lviv, and Odessa.

18 April 2022 marked the 5th anniversary of Colibri as a whole. On 19 April, Colibri Russia slowly reopened for Ukrainians and the good Russians who are against the war.
